Dr. Trevor Ushko, BSc., D.D.S.
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Ushko and his family were born and raised in Edmonton, AB. He is married and has two beautiful daughters. He attended the University of Alberta, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction in 1995 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1999. Dr. Ushko has been one of three attending dentists for the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club since 2011. He was also one of three dentists providing dental coverage for the 2020 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation's World Junior Hockey Championships, both held at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Dr. Ushko continues his lifelong learning through regular continuing education courses. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Alberta Dental Association and College, the Edmonton District Dental Society and several other associations and study clubs. Dr. Ushko is active in the community as a golfer, hockey player, minor hockey coach and several other volunteer positions. He enjoys all sports, travelling, spending time with his children, handyman work and playing with his dog Reggie. Dr. Ushko's philosophy is to treat everyone as he would want to be treated. Patients have the right to make educated choices regarding treatment. Providing them with the accurate and up to date dental knowledge to make these choices is essential to good communication, commitment to treatment and long term success.
